• Goal is to promote a clean and healthy Lynnhaven River
• Provide restoration tips, resources for teachers and students, a quarterly newsletter, and plan several annual events
• Offer the Pearl School and Pearl Home programs to support environmental stewardship
• 3 Objectives:
• to help to identify and reduce sources of pollution including nutirents, sediment, and stormwater runoff
• to educate the community regarding the restoration and protection of the river
• to restore lost habitats that act as a natural filter of polluted stormwater runoff and provide sanctuary to marine life
